Our Story/Whirlwind

Our names are Chase and Meaghan Haller, and we have had a crazy couple of years.  We spent the last few in law school, Chase at the University of Dayton School of Law, and me at Indiana University Maurer School of Law – Bloomington.  In 2010, I started work for a fantastic firm in Indianapolis while Chase finished school.  We moved into our first apartment and began to seriously plan our wedding.  On May 13, 2011, we had the most wonderful wedding ever!  The day we returned to our apartment as a married couple, we found a notice on our door about our lease terminating and thus began the process of shopping for a home.  In a total whirlwind, we fell in love with a beautiful two-story home south of Indianapolis and closed on the home on July 13th.

During this time, Chase was studying to take the Indiana bar exam and we were planning our honeymoon that we put off for him to study.  He took the exam the last week of July (we find out at the end of this month if he passed!) and we left right after on our honeymoon to the Dominican Republic.  The day after we returned, we moved into our house with the help of our amazing (and strong!) family.

Between work, Chase’s job hunting, and getting settled in the house, we have been all over the place.  With so many changes, we are excited to see what the future holds and want to share it with our family members and friends who are spread across several states and anyone else who may be interested.

Being lawyers and first time homeowners, we are sure to have many hysterical stories to share.  We hope you enjoy reading!
